Golden Globes Awards: The tendencies on the red carpet

The red carpet of the the 74th edition of Golden Globes Awards was marked with generous cleavages, glittering sequins and rhinestones, while pink and black were the favorite options of celebrities that attended the gala, held at Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California, reported EFE on Monday.

Jessica Chastain & Reese Witherspoon

The nice weather determined the celebrities to show their impressive cleavages. Sofía Vergara, Blake Lively, Jessica Chastain, Kristen Bell, Jessica Biel and Mandy Moore were just a few examples.

Emily Ratajkowski & Sofia Vergara

Emily Ratajkowski, one of the most admired stars of the night, opted for a bold dress in metallic silver and gold tones and a wide front cleft that revealed her long legs, while the actress Sofia Vergara caught all the attention with her transparent dress sprinkled with rhinestones that set the imagination free.

Jessica Biel

Jessica Biel, with her natural makeup and piled hair, relied on a dress signed Elie Saab, in tones of black and white and with embroidered flowers, while Michelle Rodríguez, who preferred a hairdo with defined curls, opted for a white dress with fringes, a V-neck line and rhinestones.

Natalie Portman

One of the most elegant appearances of the evening was Natalie Portman with a vintage 1910 Prada dress, ‘in a manner reminiscent of Cinderella’, as she said.

Drew Barrymore

Another star that was highly admired was Drew Barrymore, dressed in a white dress with grey sequins and a deep V-cleavage.

Emma Stone

Pink nude shade was preferred by Emma Stone, who looked fascinating in a Valentino dress embroidered with golden stars, a V-neck and straps clasped behind.

Felicity Jones

Pink was also the option of Felicity Jones, Carrie Underwood or Angela Bassett among other celebrities.

Amy Adams & Evan Rachel Wood

More traditional but equally admired, were the all-black apparitions of actresses Amy Adams – Tom Ford dress, sprinkled with sequins – and Evan Rachel Wood, dressed in an elegant black tuxedo, bringing a homage to David Bowie, who would have turned 70 years.
