Former Spice Girl Geri Horner welcomes baby boy

Geri Horner and her husband, Christian, just welcomed their first child together. The 44-year-old gave birth to a baby boy.

On Saturday morning, Horner announced Montague George Hector Horner’ birth by Twitter.

“Christian and I are delighted to announce our baby boy was born this morning weighing 7lbs 8oz,” wrote the former member of Spice Girls.

Then, she posted a picture on Instagram of her holding her son’s foot, along with declaring his name.

Earlier this morning, she also wished Happy Birthday to her friend and former bandmate, Emma Bunton. Emma responded and congratulated Geri on her bundle of joy: “Amazing news, so happy! #Birthdaytwins #Birthdaymade”.

Geri married Christian Horner in 2015. They both have kids from previous relationships. Geri has daughter Bluebell, while Christian has Olivia.

In October they announced her pregnancy. “The couple is overjoyed with the good news and cannot wait to welcome the newest addition to their family,” said their statement.

Her friends and former bandmates threw Geri a babyshower last year. Mel B and Emma Burton celebrated with her.

Before she announced her pregnancy, Geri dropped out of the reunion Spice Girls were about to have. The reason behind it was to focus on her family. An insider revealed that her priorities changed and she wants “to concentrate on more personal matters.”

It was hard for all of them to meet at the same time in the studio, since they all have very busy lives. The reunion was supposed to be with Mel B, Emma and Geri.
