Trump is changing his phone with one worthy of a President

Donald Trump, the newest President of the United States has officially taken over the presidential office in Washington DC.

But, with great powers also come great responsibilities.

Donald Trump has been using an Android phone for a very long time.

Sometimes, he used it to post stupid Tweets or other personal things on social networks.

Yet, things will change!

Not that he won’t post stupid things anymore.

But, he will be obliged by the American Secret Service to stop using his usual phone.

Consequently, he’ll start using a phone approved by the Service.

The device is secure, encrypted and, of course, approved by the state, with a number that only a few people will have.

Most likely, his phone will be a Samsung Galaxy S4, similar to the one owned by Barack Obama during his second mandate.

Although, the phone is completely different from the ones any of us could find in stores.

The special version of Galaxy S4 is extremely modified in order to correspond the imposed security protocols.

So, naming it a ‘smartphone’ would be inappropriate.

For example, Obama’s phone could not make phone calls, send text messages or take pictures.

Same for Trump

The standard Android apps won’t be installed. There are only a few apps approved by DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency).

Why a Galaxy S4?

Apparently, this smartphone is among the few eligible devices to access SIPRNet, the secret version of the classic internet, used to transmit classified information.

It will be interesting to follow Trump’s Twitter account from now on, but also the account he will receive as being the President of the US.
