‘La La Land’ keeps making record after record. After the nominations announced on Tuesday, the movie is ruling categories.

After at the Golden Globes it won a record of seven awards, in each category it was nominated, it is no wonder that at the Oscars it is a favorite.

‘La La Land’ breaks the record and gets nominated for fourteen times. The record was previously held by the 1997 ‘Titanic’ and ‘All About Eve’ from 1950.

It features in the following categories: Best Picture, Original Screenplay, Cinematography, Costume Design, Editing, Original Score, Production Design, Sound Editing, Sound Mixing.

The director, Damien Chazelle is in the Directing category.

Emma Stone is in the course for Best Leading Actress, while Ryan Gosling for Actor in a Leading Role.

In the Original Song category, two songs are nominated: “Audition” and “City of Stars”.

This movie is definitely the star of the awards season. At the Golden Globes, earlier this month, it did make history.

Ryan Gosling won Best Actor, while Emma Stone received her first ever award at the Golden Globes. The chances for them to win an Oscar are pretty high.

This film marks the magnificent comeback of musicals into our society. People start to embrace this genre and start responding to it differently.

But this isn’t the only one that embraced the musical. This year, the remake of a fan-favorite “Beauty and the Beast” will be released.

Broadway is also more and more important. “Hamilton” has been one of the most successful plays.

“Marry Poppins Returns” is also in the making.

The Academy Awards will take place on February 26. Everyone can’t wait to see who will win.
