Last week, both of the artists passed away days after each other, breaking everybody’s hearts. Their story shows how strong a bond between a mother and a daughter can be.

Following her daughter’s death, Debbie couldn’t bare the thought of losing her, saying that she wants “to be with Carrie”. Everybody believes she died of a “broken heart”.

A trailer for a documentary on HBO about their relationship shows how incredible their bond really was. The documentary is titled: “Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds”.

The movie, that has 94 minutes, is a ‘story of the family’s complicated love’ and wants to give people a scoop inside their family life. It will premiere on January 7, at 8 PM. The directors of the film are Alexis Bloom and Fisher Stevens.

The trailer shows the two actresses together, sharing funny moments and sweet, heartfelt ones. It starts with Fisher walking to her mother’s door, holding a tray of food. As she enters, she tells Debbie she can’t keep the flip-phone, because it is already too old and not functioning properly. ‘’Works fine”, says Reynold who tries to fix the device.

Their conversations are absolutely witty and mesmerizing, their bond is truly amazing.

In the trailer, it is also seen how Carrie and her brother, Todd, share a conversation regarding their mother’s health. Carrie says that her mother forgets about how her age can affect her.

The 84-year-old discusses her daughter’s diagnostic that she received later in life, as a maniac and depressive.

Carrie says that her mother is her best friend, while her mother adds: “I share everything with my daughter, especially the check.”

The film was shot in 2014 and 2015 and it was supposed to be launched in March, but their sudden deaths moved the release date.

The movie shows several old family footages as well.

“We started out making a film about Hollywood royalty. And we ended up making a film about love,” said the two directors.

People are waiting to see the beloved artists one more time together and be touched by their beautiful relationship.
