The operating systems iOS and Android are starting to ‘approach’ each other and become more and more similar.

They are both offering access to similar functions and applications.

Although, Apple still benefits from multiple advantages.

For example, they have communication services that are easier to use.

iMessage is one of them, who directly connects chat clients to the messaging app through an internet network.

Also, FaceTime is specially created to ensure the access to video calls. The feature is available on every Apple device that has a connection to the internet.

Apparently, iOS 11 will bring an improvement to the latter.

Once the FaceTime was launched, together with iOS 4, the service has offered the possibility of starting calls between two interlocutors.

In its struggle to compete against its rival services, such as Skype and Google Hangouts, Apple may implement simultaneous teleconferences with more than two users.

The information about this future capability of iOS comes from The Verifier website.

Rumour has it that some official sources may have confirmed the news.

FaceTime approved implementing the new function

Seemingly, the superior limit would be of five participants in a chatting conference.

Also, the calls might be initiated in the chatting boxes on iMessage.

As Apple will put the accent on improving iMessage in iOS 10, iOS 11 will provide FaceTime the same treatment.

Even though the information concerning iOS 11 will certainly be launched at the beginning of this summer, during the annual WWDC conference.

Here, Apple will launch the beta version the operating system, in order to prepare the developing of the final version, to came this autumn.
