Johnny Depp and Amber Heard finally divorced

After months of struggling to end a settlement, the two have finally divorced. Last year, in May, the actress filed for separation from Depp after only one year and a half of marriage. The whole thing then emerged into a huge scandal.

This week, the two were at each other’s throats again after both of them claimed that the other did not respect the previous settlement. Now, they finally managed to divorce.

The 53-year-old actor will give his ex-wife $7 million that she says she is going to donate to charities. The actress will also keep their two dogs, Boo and Pistol, although Johnny wanted to have them.

Heard accused Depp of abuse after she filed for divorce. At their first court hearing, she appeared with a bruise on her face. At that time, she also released a footage of the actor being verbally violent and a series of pictures with her injured face. The 30-year-old actress claimed that in February, her husband hit her face with an iPhone. In spite of her claims, the police found no evidence.

The actor denied the rumor, saying that all his estranged wife is trying to do is ruin his public image and get more attention for herself. His lawyer stated that Heard wanted to ensure she gets as much money as possible from the actor. They did not have a prenuptial agreement.

Heard will also get a horse they had together, Arrow. The 50-year-old star will have the single possession of his properties from LA, Paris and the island in Bahamas. All the vehicles will remain his. They also closed a deal of not talking publicly about their relationship. Neither one of them got spousal support.
