George H.W. Bush and his wife have both been hospitalized on Wednesday in Houston, Texas.
The American ex-president, aged 92, has been moved to intensive care after being diagnosed with pneumonia, transmitted AFP.
The Republican, who succeeded Ronald Reagan between 1989 and 1993, has been first hospitalized for respiratory insufficiency last Saturday.
Furthermore, the doctors have performed a special procedure on Bush, to protect and release his airways. The surgery has requested a full tranquillization.
Fortunately, the former President George Bush is now in a stable condition.
In addition, he will rest in the intensive therapy room for the next few days, where he will be kept under careful surveillance.
His wife is keeping him company
Similarly, Barabara Bush, aged 91 years, was also hospitalized as a precaution measure following a chronic fatigue.
Also, Barbara has been suffering during the last few years from a permanent cough.
Problems do not cease showing up
Lately, President Bush got to know the Huston hospital very well, for he unfortunately had to stay there too many times.
As his health condition kept deteriorating over the years, now, he was finally diagnosed with pneumonia.
Also, in July 2015, he has fractured a rib, has suffered from respiratory issues in 2014 and, earlier in 2012, bronchitis knocked him down for two months.
As for Bush and Barbara, not only they dedicated their lives to America. But, they also constantly helped Michelle and Barack with kind pieces of advice and active support.
‘There is no better, more beautiful couple’, stated Obama.
Also, the future US President, Donald Trump, wished them ‘a rapid recovery’ on his Twitter account.
If following the doctors’ advice, George Bush will be the first alive ex-president who will not be present at the inauguration ceremony.
