The mother-daughter duo passed away on December 27 and December 28 respectively. Their bond was so strong, that mother Debbie could not stand the idea of losing her child.

The memorial took place on Friday, at Hollywood’s Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The two were laid to rest together. Fisher was cremated this week, but some of the ashes were placed in a coffin, so that she can be by placed next to her mother. The coffins were buried next to each other. Also, Carrie had a memorial on Thursday.

The rest of Carrie’s ashes were placed in a giant Prozac pill. Her brother can be seen carrying the urn. He explained how his sister bought the giant pill a few years ago and how she liked it so much and her daughter, Billie Lourd, felt like it was appropriate to place her ashes there.

Fisher had bipolar disease and dealt with depression. Many times she joked about Prozac pills. She once said her kitchen tiles were “shaped and labeled like enormous tablets of Prozac”.

At the memorial that took place on Friday, family and friends were there to commemorate the actresses one more time. Billie had rumored boyfriend, Taylor Lautner, by her side.

At the family house was held a private memorial. According to reports, Meryl Streep sang a song for Fisher and held an eulogy. Jamie Lee Curtis, Penny Marshall, Richard Dreyfuss and other celebrities were there.

Todd Fisher said the memorial “was fitting and it was beautiful”. He also added that the family plans a larger memorial in the future, so that those who loved the actresses can pay their respects.

On Saturday night, you can see on HBO the documentary about the two actresses.
