According to the Daily News, as she was talking with a Democrat, Hillary Clinton might have implied she is thinking of running to be the mayor of New York City.

Many Democrats from New York want Clinton to run for the post. Clinton might have some issues with the present mayor, Bill de Blasio. Even if they worked many times together, him and the Clintons, the things don’t look so good now, as Bill refused to endorse Hillary as the next president of the US.

Bill wasn’t challenged by such a high-profile Democrat until now, but maybe Hilary will be the first one. His term will be ending at the end of the year.

In 2013, he won the election, but his popularity has decreased since then.

Being mayor of New York is really challenging, sometimes being said that it is the second hardest job in the politics.

Although it would be a great opportunity for Clinton, some are skeptical about her making this move.

“It’d be sweet justice considering the way that de Blasio treated her. But it’s a political delusion,” said a Democrat.

According to reports, some of Clinton’s friends have sparked the rumor because of how Bill treated her. Even if some still hold grudges, Neera Tanden and John Posteda, who are part of her staff, attended Bill’s fund-raiser this Thursday. It is possible that Hillary already left the thing behind.

Kenneth Sherrill, professor from Hunter College, weighed on the matter and declared that she wouldn’t picture Hillary in this position: “It is much easier to identify her with national and international issues than it is to identify her with urban local issues.”

Others believe she would fit in perfectly and that there is a large possibility for her to win if she decides to run for the position.

If Clinton wants to run for the position, she has to make up her mind pretty fast.
