Ed Sheeran releases new music

The singer finally released new music. Fans waited for a long time to hear new creations from the beloved artist.  The wait took about two years, which is a pretty long time.

He brought not one, but two new singles. They are called “Shape of you” and “Castle on the Hill”.

In May 2015, Sheeran released “Photograph” which was a great success.

This Sunday, he gave fans some clues on social media about his new works. His next album will be called “Divide”. Now, on January 6, the singer just released the two new tracks.

“Cause I’ve been away for a bit here’s two singles rather than one,” wrote the artist on social media as he gave some snippets of the songs.

“Shape of you” definitely brings something fresh from the singer, with different rhythm and beat. He declared before that he wants to create new music that will be slightly different than the one he used to do, but he still wants to keep his personal note.

“Castle on the Hill” brings a powerful chorus and just like the other one, a fast beat.

When releasing the news songs, Sheeran told his fans how much work he put into the material and how excited he is to share it with them.  “I really wanted to show two different sides to my music that I’m equally as passionate about,” said Sheeran in a social media post.

He definitely started the year really good and 2017 will probably be very busy and exciting for him. Maybe he will surprise his fans with a tour as well after he launches the much-awaited album.
