Christian Siriano on how he won the hearts of celebrities

The designer creates clothes that fit every size and every taste. Since he started designing, he has become a favorite of many celebrities and not only.

“Come over here, girl. I’d love to dress you,” said Siriano to Leslie Jones as she had an important event ahead. She was trying to make a big move towards acting from the ‘Saturday Night Live’. At her movie premiere, she wore a red, off-the shoulder gown. Since then, Jones remained close friends with the designer.

Siriano created gowns for Michelle Obama too. At the Democratic National Convention, she wore a full-skirted dress in a wonderful blue shade.

It took nearly nine years for the designer to be fully accepted by the fashion critics. His past as a TV star definitely played a great part in his acceptance.

The designer was born in Maryland and has been creating since he was 13 years old. He studied design at university and then interned for Marc Jacobs and Vivienne Westwood.

Then, he signed up for “Project Runway” and he won. That’s when his career kicked off.

Siriano declared that what he wants to do is become “all women can trust in when they want to be beautiful.”

He dressed celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Coco Rocha, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Kerry Washington and many others. All of them fell in love with his stunning creations and his way of being.

His company has lots of success, being worth at somewhere between $10 millions and $20mil. Siriano also has a shoe line, that is very purchased.

The designer definitely has a great deal of talent and his creations will be admired for a very long time.
