Snapchat is sued by former worker

A man who used to work for Snapchat is now suing the company. Among the claims, he says that Snapchat has been delivering the wrong numbers about its growth.

Anthony Pompliano used to work for Facebook until in 2015, he decided to switch to Snapchat. He says that he was fired by the company only after three weeks for the inaccurate metrics that he has brought into the management.

The lawsuit says that Snapchat tried to “destroy his career and reputation by waging a smear campaign”.

The company has responded and said that his affirmations are wrong. After seeing Pompliano’s complaint, a spokesperson said that “it has no merit. It is totally made up by a disgruntled former employee.”

The former employee also states that their investors were misloaded and the partners were changed all the time. As longs as he worked for the team, he urged the executives to solve the problems.

The lawsuit was filed this Wednesday. He also claims that he was forced to give inside information about Facebook. “Snapchat fraudulently induced Pompliano away from Facebook to run Snapchat’s new user growth and engagement team by falsely representing to him,” said the files.

Not only that they fired him, but did anything possible to ensure that his career is over. Poempliano was falsely accused by the firm.

This lawsuit comes as Snapchat has a lot of success. It has little until it reaches the biggest stock market. Since it came on the market in 2014, the app is really popular.
