The state leader boarded the Philadelphia flight Thursday morning.

Theresa May will hold a speech in front of a group of Republican officials, during their annual congress.

Then, she will to Washington to visit the Military Memorial in Arlington, before the meeting from the White House.

Theresa May will offer Donald Trump, whose mother is Scottish, a Quaich – a traditional Scottish cup made from silver.

The Quaich is a symbol of friendship and hospitality.

The First Lady will receive a basket full of original products from Chequers, like apple juice, comfiture, and white chocolate biscuits.

Chequers is Theresa May’s country residence.
