Karl Lagerfeld and Ralph Lauren to dress Melania Trump for the inauguration day

According to reports, two major designers might dress the future First Lady for the inauguration party this Friday.

Since Donald Trump won the elections, designers keep weighing on whether they will dress Melania Trump or not.  Her first major event as the First Lady is this week and her gown is really important.

With so many designers who gave already expressed their opinions on not ever dressing her, now two seem to be all about creating her gown.

According to WWD, the brand has been working on something special for Melania on the inauguration day.

Ralph Lauren has already dressed Trump’s big rival from the elections, Hillary Clinton. He created her famous pant suits for the election debates that had everybody in awe. Now it seems pretty odd to dress Melania, since he was Clinton’s supporter.

But, as WWD suggests, Lauren won’t be the single one to take part in the creation of her outfit.  Karl Lagerfeld might also step in. There is a huge possibility that the future FLOTUS will wear two outfits: Lauren during the day and Lagerfeld at night.

Lagerfeld is designing for three brands, so it is not known which one is in charge: Chanel, Fendi or his own?

This isn’t the first time the designer takes such a controversial decision. It would be no wonder if he will dress Donald Trump too.

According to rumors, Melania is the one that asked for Lagerfeld or possibly both. She is known for her impressive collection of fashion items and her passion for it. She used to be a model, so fashion in general is no stranger to her.

There is only one day left until the inauguration and all the eyes will be on the presidential couple and of course, on what and who will they wear.
