Premieres in US’ cinemas: "Monster Trucks" and "The Bye Bye Man"

Premieres in cinemas: The adventure movie ‘Monster Trucks’ and the supernatural horror movie ‘The Bye Bye Man’ are among the news for the weekend in North American theaters, according to EFE.

‘Monster Trucks’

Directed by Chris Wedge, ‘Monster Trucks’ has Jane Levy and Lucas Till starring, known from the popular TV series ‘MacGyver’. Trip, a teenager who builds trucks, finds a mysterious non-human creature that will become his faithful friend.

‘The Bye Bye Man’

The horror movie ‘The Man Bye Bye’, directed by Stacy Title, features a cast formed by Douglas Smith, Lucien Laviscount and Cressida Bonas. The film shows the terrifying urban legend created around The Bye Bye Man, a supernatural being who kills all those who think of him or pronounce his name.

‘Sleepless’

Jamie Foxx and Michelle Monaghan are the leading actors of the movie, a thriller directed by Baran bo Odar. The movie is a remake of the French film ‘Nuit blanche’ (2011), depicting the adventures of a corrupt cop who faces the kidnapping of his son.

Other premieres for the weekend are ‘The Comedian’ and ‘The Book of Love’.

With an outstanding cast headed by Robert De Niro, along with other actors such as Danny DeVito, Harvey Keitel, Billy Crystal and Leslie Mann, ‘The Comedian’ is the newest movie produced and directed by Taylor Hackford.

The film shows the life of a comic veteran (De Niro), at the end of his career.

Another premiere is ‘The Book of Love’, produced by debutant director Bill Purple. After losing his wife in a traffic accident, a shy architect attempts to start his life over again, helping a young homeless girl.
