HBO: ‘Game of Thrones’ considers making a spinoff

HBO has not yet determined the exact number of episodes of the eighth season of the series ‘Game of Thrones’.

So, the producers take into account making a spinoff, after the huge success of the fantasy show, according to flickeringmyth.com.

This summer, ‘Game of Thrones’ will return for the seventh season, which is the penultimate.

Apparently, it will have only seven episodes.

Then, the producers D.B. Weiss and David Benioff will end the fantasy series, but not before coming up with the eighth season.

New series to come

This was originally announced to have only six episodes.

However, until now, HBO has not officially announced that it will produce its eighth season.

The decision was delayed by the fact that it is still unclear exactly how many episodes would have the last season.

They always opt for what will be the best version of the series.

It comes down to how many episodes they want to do.

No matter how many episodes will have the eighth season, the fact is that the TV series “Game of Thrones” is coming to an end.

However, there were plenty of discussions at HBO about making a derivative series.

The action would take place throughout the Weteros universe.

Casey Bloys told Variety that it would be “stupid” not to consider this a spinoff.

‘All we can say is that we analyze this possibility. We have no script, we’re not even remotely close to saying: ‘Let’s do it’. But, it is a universe large enough that we will use, concluded Casey.
