The day that Trump has waited so much is finally here. Today is marked in history as the day the 45^th president of the United States of America has sworn-in.

In the morning, Trump and the Future First Lady arrived for a church service. Melania wore a blue ensemble that channeled Jackie O. Kennedy’s one from 1961. The new presidential couple was greeted by the pastor at St. John’s episcopal church.

The couple was welcomed then by the presidential couple that prepares to leave the White House. Michelle and Barack Obama welcomed Trump and Melania. Melania gifted Michelle with a box from Tiffany & Co. As Melania wanted to shake Michelle’s hand, the FLOTUS gave her a hug instead. Obama greeted Trump with warmth and kindness: “Mr. president-elect! How are you? Congratulations!” The two couples then had tea.

Barack Obama wrote a letter for the next president, as George W. Bush did eight years ago for him.

After this, all four took a limousine to go to the Capitol, where Trump held his speech.

The president-elect’s supporters started lining up from the early morning so they can attend the ceremony. However, the number of supporters is shockingly smaller than the one Obama had.

Last night, Trump had his concert. His family, Ivanka and his other children, were by his side.

As usual, people expressed their feelings on the performances. 3 Doors Down and the others played. Many took to social media to mock the event and the future president, who lip-synced to 3 Doors Down.

Also, the Vice President Joe Biden welcomed his successor Mike Pence.

Hillary and Bill Clinton, as well as George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, attend the swear-in ceremony.

As Trump celebrated his big day, protesters are taking over Washington.

Mike Pence has officially become the Vice President. After his oath, “America is Beautiful” played.

“I Donald J. Trump do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States and will do the best of my ability preserve, protect and defend the constitution of the United States, so help me God.” Now, Trump has officially became the Commander in Chief.
