According to rumors, the singer is reaching to billionaire ex-boyfriend for help after her failure at the New Year’s Eve performance. Everybody knows how awful her performance was.

Now, after the disastrous event, the diva is taking a time off. According to a magazine, she is asking James Packer to help her get her career back.

Sources say the singer is ‘filled with regret over James’. The source also adds that she is the one that pushed him away. She needs his help as he is so good at business. Right now, her business is the one in danger.

In spite of the magazine’s claims, her representatives say that he hasn’t kept in touch with her ex and has not asked him for any kind of help.

Packer’s spokesperson declared: ‘There is no truth in the story.’

According to the magazine, Carey’s manager gave her the idea of creating more drama with her ex-boyfriend so she can get more attention. Sources say that the things began to fall apart when the singer started shooting for her reality show.

The two have been together for eighteen months. Their split is caused by her career and his disapproval, say sources.

They began dating in April 2015 and got engaged in January 2016. In October, the two called off the wedding.

The singer will take over Las Vegas despite her performance on December 31. “My feelings are hurt, but I’m working through this,” said Carey. Her tour will start in March and until then, she is taking a much-needed break.
