Alert: Microbes can survive even on Mars

Microbes are one of the most simple and primitive organisms on Earth.

Apparently, they are also the most powerful.

They could survive even under extreme conditions on Mars.

In the present, the environmental conditions on Mars’ surface – extreme cold and aridity – are considered being too harsh to support life.

They could kill anyone.

But not microbes!

Any environment that had been analyzed on Earth was discovered to be lousy with microbes.

They are literally everywhere!

You even got them on your hands and face right now!

An astrologist from Arkansas Center commented that it is very difficult to believe that there are no such organisms on other planets and moons.

Consequently, anterior studies have shown that methane, the simplest organic molecule was present in Mars’ atmosphere.

Although there are diverse modalities of producing this gas, such as volcanic activity, methane can also be produced by microorganisms.

On Earth, these are called methanogens and they are usually living in swamps, but can also be found in cattle’s intestines and in rotting bodies.

So, methanogens were discovered to be one of the first organisms that populated the Earth in its beginnings.

The microbes are anaerobic, which means they don’t need air to survive and multiply.

Seemingly, this may lead to a new hypothesis.

That is, microbes could live in Mars’ underground, to protect themselves from the extreme conditions and radiations.

To prove whether or not the organisms could live on Mars, a group of scientists has led a series of tests.

The collected data confirmed that all the microbes survived the Mars alike-conditions.

In conclusion, given a possible Apocalypse, the microbes could successfully gather their forces and populate Mars.
