Flying taxis could be a thing sooner than we thought. Singapore already has a big plan that is set to come true until 2030.

The Ministry of Transport is currently in talks with several firms to start working on flying taxis soon.

These vehicles are definitely the future for transportation and will be the best choice to avoid traffic jams. Singapore’s plan is pretty serious and very soon, flying cars will no longer be a part of the future, but the present.

Earlier this week, an official, Pang King Keong, made their plans known in a meeting. They are looking for companies that can bring the flying drones that transport people.

Not only that they want taxis, but flying buses as well, so more people can enjoy this fast transportation.

Mister Keong is confident that all the technology and the artificial intelligence systems that we have today will make their plans come true. Their transport industry is going to defy any rules and expectations.

Even if they plan on changing the transportation radically and bring flying cars, one thing will still remain. They are going to keep the transportation by train, as it is the core of their industry.

In the same conference,  Keong added that people will change their opinion about owning vehicles and about mobility services.

Until now, they have already three prototypes of flying taxis. They are going to work on them some more to bring the best result.

While these taxis will be available starting 2030, the new buses will come later this year. Keong declared that they are going to share something soon.
