J.R Smith dishes on his child state after being born five months early

J.R Smith and his wife have probably experienced the worse of times after their baby was born prematurely, five months before the due date. Doctors gave them no hope at the beginning as the child was so small and unable to breath on her own.

Now, the father opens up about how the baby is feeling. The baby girl is doing much better than she was in January, after she was born. The parents named her Dakota and are relieved that she is fine now, although her recovery will still take a while.

The NBA megastar’s wife, Jewel, shared a picture of her holding the baby in her arms. She has a huge smile as she takes care of her child.

On her site, Jewel wrote earlier this week that after so much work and time, the baby is finally better and able to breath on her own. She wrote that some mothers experience this feeling in only a couple of seconds, while she had to wait 78 for her baby to breath well.

Even if it was hard, this wait was worth it, because she now experiences some great moments and emotions. She is overwhelmed with joy that her baby is doing fine.

Jewel and J.R gave the news of the birth at the beginning of the year. They shared the news in a video, where they were visibly heartbroken.

The couple has two more children together, daughters Demi and Peyton. We are happy that their third is now well.
