NASA is absolutely sure of the place where they will find proof of alien life. The experts from the agency believe that Jupiter’s natural satellite, Europa, is the place where they’ll find life in space.
They think that this is their best shot to find alien life in the space. They plan to send two probes into space, one that will investigate the surface of the moon and an other that will observe from up.
For a period of time, one of the rovers will explore in depth the surface of the satellite.
However, it will take a while until they are going to send the crafts. The first mission will take place in 2022 and they will sent a craft entitled Europa Clipper. The second mission will take place even later, but the date hasn’t been picked yet.
During the following week, representatives from NASA are going to discuss at a conference about these missions in Houston.
Robert Pappalardo is the one in charge of the project. When looking for alien life, they are going to search for water and if there is any chemical energy. They are also trying to understand how it works, what is it made of, the ocean and the ice and how they are like.
The craft they are sending on Europa is going to measure the surface of the ocean and of the moon entirely. It features about nine instruments and high-tech gadgets so it will offer the best information.
