Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon and Blue Origin, just became the second richest person in the world. This is definitely a huge thing for him as he managed to defeat two business moguls that always topped the list.

The 53-year-old has a net worth of 75.6 billion dollars with 1.5 billion added recently.

Bezos’ success right now is huge. His company, Amazon, is doing better than ever and keeps on rising. The other one, Blue Origin, will start taking people into space next year, so we will hear a lot about this business mogul.

His fortune now just beat Warren Buffet and his Berkshire Hathaway. He has seven hundred million dollars more than him.

He also managed to beat Amancio Ortega Gaone, the founder of Inditex and the richest man in Europe. Bezos has about 1.3 billion dollars more than him.

One person Bezos did not manage to defeat and that is Bill Gates, who has topped the list for quite a while. His net worth is estimated at 86 billion dollars.

Last year, Bezos added to his fortune more than ten billion dollars. Seven billion dollars came after the election in November, when the rally of the global equities kicked off. This year, he added more than one billion to his fortune.

His amazing rise comes on the third place. Wang Wei is the one that gained the most, followed by Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg.

However, this month, Jeff lost quite a few after he was named on the list. He lost more than four billion.
