President Donald Trump just offered his daughter, Ivanka, her very own office at the White House. People are extremely unhappy about this and think that this is a serious case of ‘nepotism’.

Ever since Trump became president, Ivanka was present in every major meeting that her father has. She met several foreign leaders and even took pictures on the president’s chair from the Oval Office.

Although she does not have an official role at the White House, Ivanka received her own office. Her office is situated in the West Wing and soon, the First Daughter will have access at government information.

Although she gets the office and the information, Ivanka will not receive a title and will not be an employee of the government.

What the administration will do is treat her like the employee of the government, she will have to comply to all the rules, but will not get an official position.

Even if she got the official title, this would still be a violation of the ethics rules.

This is definitely proof of the high influence Ivanka has on her father. For a very long time, she has been his right hand and the one who always gives him advice.

People argue that this is a way for her to promote her brand. However, officials declared that Ivanka is no longer doing business and she just serves her father.

Trump also opened up about the subject and said that he will follow all the rules of ethics.
