After a tumultuous past, John Mayer declares that he is a changed man who just needs a new chance.

The heartthrob spent some time thinking about his past and life and the changes he wants to make. He is ready for a new start and for reinventing himself.

The Grammy-winner opened up about how much he regrets the way he acted in the past. He used to have this attitude like no one could touch him, so cocky and full of himself. He learned that this will bring him no good, being mean to other is not okay.

For quite a while, he reflected on who he is and he learned that he doesn’t like what he became. Fame and money changed his life and made him a total different person.

Now that he is reaching his forties, the singer wants to be someone new. He doesn’t want to be the bad boy anymore, he is ready to settle down and have children and live a peaceful life.

Mayer is also ready for new music. He will soon release a song about his ex, Katy Perry, and he knows that some people might not take it too well but he is confident in it.

He declared for “The New York Times” that the time for him to focus on his personal life came. He loves music, it is his great passion, but his life is his main worry now. 

All that he asks now is from people and especially his fans to give him a new chance, he promises he will never let them down again.
