Rihanna, to host her third Diamond Ball

Hosting the Diamond Ball has become a tradition for Rihanna, who is going to host it for the third year.

Of course, we could not expect less from her, as she was recently honored by Harvard University for her humanitarian work. The ball consists in a fundraiser and this year is set to take place in September.

The beautiful Barbadian singer announced yesterday that the event is set to take place in New York. The Clara Lionel Foundation will be the one to benefit from the event. Rihanna wants to honor their accomplishments, but, in the same time, bring awareness to everyone.

Last year, the singer did not host the ball, but did in 2014 and 2015. She is really involved in humanitarian acts and enjoys doing this.

While accepting the honor at Harvard earlier this month, the 29-year-old revealed that she dreamed of helping others ever since she was little. Now that she can afford it, she does everything to help others, especially children.

The Diamond Ball has had a huge success. In the second year, they managed to raise three million dollars that went to her organization that supports education for the children from the underdeveloped places.

This time, Rihanna decided to host her event in another place. The first time, she chose Beverly Hills, then she went for Santa Monica and now New York is the top choice.

Rihanna explained that New York offers the best background for such an event. She can’t wait for it to take place, she is sure it is going to be amazing and something to remember.
