It looks like the president’s trips are getting way pricier. The costs for a trip to Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s “winter White House” and to New York, where the First Lady stays, are incredibly high.

Taxpayers were already mad at all the pricey trips that the president made since taking the office, so they won’t be happy to hear that the Secret Service now asks for more.

Because the first couple has so many demands and trips, the security always needs to be tight.

As the work has increased with the arrival of the Trump clan, the Secret Services decided that starting next year, they are going to need sixty million dollars more in funding.

Half of this sum ensures the security for Trump and his family, including Melania and Barron, who live in New York. The other half is for the protection of other White House officials and other visits.

Secret Service members are in charge of the Trump Tower, where the FLOTUS is currently staying.

All of the work they had to do was highly increased, as Trump took a trip to Florida almost every weekend since in charge. His wife also traveled a few times to Washington or to Florida from New York.

Secret Service members are also in charge of protecting Trump’s children. Ivanka and her siblings always have security with them. For example, they are are now in Aspen, Ivanka and her two brothers, and have a ton of security on their tracks.

The costs of trips and the security hope to be reduced once the FLOTUS moves to the White House in June.
