Netizens, brace yourself, because this year we are getting a whole lot of new emojis. Emojipidia already gave us a scoop of how the new icons will look like.

These new characters are brand-new and pretty exciting. From mermaids, to food, mystical creatures and activities, these new emojis could not be any cooler.

According to Emojipia, we will get these new emojis this summer. Until then, all we can do is wait and look at the pictures the company released.

In the statement they released on their site, they wrote that some emojis will be open to interpretation in terms of gender. They don’t look feminine or masculine, they are just suitable for both. They will also bring breastfeeding emojis.

At the end of the statement, the company wrote that they are still thinking of new emojis, so we might get more than 69 after all.

In case your a foodie, you will definitely like the new food emojis. They will bring steak, pretzels, broccoli, fortune cookies and Chinese food and pie among others.

If you are a big fan of mystical creatures, then you will love the goblins, fairies, vampires, elfs, mermaids and genies.

Others emojis will be about activities, such as hiking. We will also see other animals in emoji form, giraffes, dinosaurs, hedgehogs and zebras. Items of clothing, such as socks and scarves will be launched.

And that’s not all, flags of Wales, Scotland and England will be released.

These brand-new emojis will be out in a few months, in the update Unicode 10.0.
