CR7 is the official possessor of the 100.000th Sporting Lisbon supporter card

The popular Real Madrid striker received the 100.000^th supporter book from Sporting Lisbon. Cristiano Ronaldo received the supporter card right from the hands of president Bruno de Carvalho, announced the Lusitanian club on the official site.

The awarding ceremony was held after the match between Sporting and Real. The Madrilenian club won with the score of 2-1 in the Champions League.

The officials from Lisbon Sporting took advantage of the occasion for the European victory with Portugal’s national football team. Other members awarded with the same distinction were William Carvalho, Adrien and Patricio Rui.

‘I am very excited and touched by this honor’, told CR7 on Facebook. He posted the emotional message on his official Facebook page, in which he thanked the club for the award and for ‘this wonderful moment’ from his life.

The Portuguese playboy formed his spectacular balling skills at Sporting Lisbon Academy. Shortly after he was transferred at the main team by Romanian coach László Bölöni in 2002.

A year later, he was acquired by Manchester United, where he activated for six seasons, before his transfer to Real Madrid worth an astonishing $95 million.

On Tuesday night, no less than 50.000 fans witnessed the awarding ceremony on the Jose Alvalade Stadium.

They cheered for their idol during the entire ceremony. Cristiano Ronaldo never stopped expressing his love for his ‘lions’.

Besides the fact that he is successful, handsome and rich, Cristiano never stopped believing in his native country and promised to never forget from where he left.
