The 44-year-old wad considered the exotic beauty of Uzbekistan. She possessed the black belt in judo, she was a leading figure of Uzbekistan. She appeared in Julio Iglesias’ music video and worked as a diplomat in her native country.

Mother of two, Gulnara was sentenced in 2013 to house arrest, due to her father, who ruled the Uzbek state with an iron fist.

Many residents saw in Gulnara a potential successor of Islam, despite the fact she was not very popular among the average people of Uzbekistan.

In addition, Gulnara was deprived of her father’s enormous fortune. Gulnara is Islam Karimov’s eldest daughter. After she retired from the public life, rumors suggested that she ended up in a hospice or that she fled into exile in Israel.

The most curious fact was that Gulnara has not appeared to her father’s funeral, which took place in September in Samarkand.
