Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reached an agreement on custody of their six children, according to a release issued on Monday, the actress will receive the custody, writes Variety.

All children will remain in the custody of the mother, says the statement obtained by People magazine. The agreement was signed apparently about a week ago. The document also mentions that Brad Pitt will continue “’therapeutically visiting ‘ the children – Maddox, aged 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and the twins aged 8 years old, Knox and Vivienne.

Without providing further details, the communique is calling on respecting the difficult moments that the family is going through. ‘We believe that both sides are involved in treating the family and we ask you to follow us in this difficult time.’
