‘Yes California’ is a campaign meant to support the political and economic separation of California from U.S and is not something precisely new. However, after Donald Trump became the new president of the United States, the movement escalated to a hall another level.

The movement has nearly 11.000 followers and shortly after the election of the tycoon its members organized a massive protest.

Generally speaking, the state of California is prevailed by the Democrats and as a result almost 90% of Silicon Valley voted for Hillary Clinton. The CEO’s from the social media industry are not so numb at the idea of supporting the massive movement, which requires the separation of their ‘homeland’ from U.S.

The most eloquent example is the case of investor Shervin Pishevar, who announced his plans of funding a campaign meant to support the separation. Pishevar announced his retirement from the position of CEO of the prestigious exchange program Fullbright on Twitter, because according to him, with Donald Trump in charge he will not be able to work with a clean conscience.

For Californians the policy conducted by Donald Trump is hostile and unnecessary. The sunny state was populated by many Latin Americans, who live in U.S. legal or in illegal terms. The Los Angeles police chief Charlie Beck already announced that the L.A.P.D will not support the expulsion policy in the desired version promoted by the new president.

Californians have always been different in so many ways. They were the first in the United States who legalized in the early 90’s the use of cannabis for ‘medical purposes’. They also elected Arnold Schwarzenegger as governor in 2003 so after all, everything is possible in California.
