For those who want to become Santa Claus they now have a place where they can learn how to become one.
In the Canadian city of Calgary, there is a school for Santa’s, where all the elders that look like that famous and generous character can learn how to step on his footsteps.
The elders are training for numerous corporate events and private parties held during the Christmas holiday.
Santa’s job is not easy and these fellows are struggling to specialize as much as they can.
In the images, you can see a classroom packed with men with thick white beards and eager to find out how to make the little ones happy.
What are they learning to be more precise? The answers they have to give to children because sometimes these little fellows can ask the most unexpected questions. In addition, they are advised how to control their voice, in order to be as authentic as Santa’s, but also how to arrange their beard.
‘The only thing that scares me is that sometimes children are so sincere that I would not want to say anything that might affect them’, confessed one of the ‘students’ aged 64 years.
The intensive class lasts a few days and it costs around $500 and. They are held only a few times a year and the newly graduates receive a degree.
‘Santa cannot be everywhere, so I wanted to train the best representatives’, says Jennifer Andrews, who teaches at the school for more than a decade.
She says that most of her students have withdrawn from the police or army and now they are looking for other occupations.
