His million dollars apartment represents a literal ‘museum’ flooded by unique pieces and spectacular furniture imported from the most exotic countries worth thousands of dollars.

Alexander McQueen’s residence was put on the market for nine million pounds and is located in the heart of London. The apartment coveted by numerous British millionaires has a roof garden, a dining room and a terrace. The piece du resistance must represent the mirror podium made out of photographs with the late designer.

A spiral staircase leads guests to other VIP wings. The special sections include bedrooms, bathrooms for visitors with Calcatta marble and black walnut hardwood. The custom made chandeliers and the impressive dressing rooms are absolutely stunning and they were carefully selected by a group of elite designers.

Those who occupied the penthouse before Alexander McQueen were His Highness Mountbatten and author P. G. Wodehouse.

Interior design brand Paul Davies from London has spent the past 16 months transforming the inspired art deco apartment into a shrine in the honor of the famous designer, who died in 2010, just a year after acquiring the house.

The art pieces that stand out are the spiral staircase that connects the bedroom with the separate wings, the lower floors, and a professional kitchen, personalized by Clive Christian.

In 2003, Alexander McQueen was named the designer of the year in the UK. His father, a taxi driver hoped the rebellious teenager will become a plumber.
