Why ISIS rushed to claim the Las Vegas massacre?

Shortly after the massacre from Las Vegas, the news agency controlled by ISI, Amaq, rushed to claim the attack in which 59 people have died and 507 were injured.

The attacker, identified by the police as Stephen Paddock, a 64-year-old millionaire from Nevada, was not a member of any terrorist groups, and the investigators claim he had nothing to do with the extremists, writes The Atlantic.

That being said, no one understands why ISIS lied about this

ISIS issued two press statements and in the first they lied about how one of their militants was the author, while in the second the organization said Las Vegas-based Paddock converted to Islam a few months ago.

On the other hand, the FBI says the attack has nothing to do with terrorism

Shortly after they lost their last fight in Syria, ISIS is practically willing to claim any kind of attack and that just in the idea of maintaining their “reputation”.

The terrorist group failed to present any evidence to support its affirmations.

Most times, when their claims are real, the leaders post on their websites clips with the authors of their previous attacks.

The Atlantic mentions this would not be the first time when Islamic State claims a terrorist attack.

In June, a gambler attacked a famous casino from Manila, Philippines.

The Islamic State immediately claimed the attack and gave the same explanation: the man would have converted to Islam a few months before, without telling anyone.

According to the Las Vegas investigators, Stephen Paddock was also a passionate gambler, which is pretty weird considering the Islamic State condemns any form of vice, whether it’s alcohol, smoking, sexual promiscuity or gambling.

Another indictment demonstrating the Islamic State’s is lying is the fact that Paddock committed suicide before the police arrived instead of waiting for the cops to shot him, as the Jihadists usually do.

These false statements spread in the last months by the terrorist organization, which has been defeated in Syria and Iraq, reveal the desperation with which the jihadists are trying to maintain the terror vibe they shed among civilians, even if that means associating with any person with psychological problems willing to kill masses of innocent people.
