Do you guys remember the scandal that rocked the world of figure skating?

Well, the story from 1994 is now resumed in a movie which focuses on Tonya Harding’s life.

The legendary skater is being portrayed by the Aussie actress Margot Robbie in the “I, Tonya” movie.

Although the official release is set to take place in December, the first official trailer has already attracted various positive reviews, related to Margot’s stunning performance.

Some of these critics were so impressed by the young actresses’ work, they even mentioned she would become an Oscar winner at the next year’s gala.

However, an aspect that impressed most of her fans was her incredible transformation.

The beautiful 27-year-old is almost unrecognizable and the hair and make-up team did an extraordinary job transforming her into Tonya Harding.

Tonya’s husband is being portrayed by the Romanian actor Sebastian Stan, who is also the one who organized the attack on Tonya’s rival, skater Nancy Kerrigan.

The real Tonya received a lifetime ban for the U.S. Figure Skating Association after the disturbing incident and her life was transformed into a movie script by the talented Steven Rogers.

Personal videotapes, a failed attempt to build a career as a boxer, another failed attempt to become an announcer and a tumultuous love life represented the perfect ingredients for a successful movie.
