The last time Eric Paddock heard of his brother was when Stephen texted to find out what he was doing and how their 90-year-old mother felt

It was in the middle of September, and Hurricane Irma had left Orlando, Florida, the same area where Stephen’s mother was living.

Stephen Paddock, who lived in Nevada, called to find out about his mother and to check if she is doing well.

Two weeks after this gesture, Stephen Paddock, 64, would become the author of the bloodiest attack from the US history, which unfolded during a country music festival from Las Vegas, writes CNN.

The man killed 59 people and injured 527

A poker player, real estate investor, without any political or religious affiliation, revealed his brother who cannot believe what Stephen was able to do.

For Eric, Stephen was just a normal guy. He did not have children, despite he was involved in many relationships.

“Under no circumstances I would’ve imagine that my brother would do that, shooting people”, revealed Eric Paddock.

“Something incredibly wrong happened to my brother” he continued.

Police in Las Vegas say he did not hear his name until the attack, because it was not in their records.

He bought firearms in the past but legally, claimed the authorities.

Those at the Mesquite store, Guns & Guitars, say they sold a weapon to Paddock, but they did not see any sign that would make them think he is mentally unstable or something.

The police found 23 weapons in Stephen’s hotel room, including automatic weapons.

Eric Paddock knew that his brother possessed some weapons for self-defense, but he had no information about the automatic ones.
