‘How will America look after today’s vote?’ is the question some students answerd

Over 145 million Americans enrolled in the lists of voters and are expected today to elect the 45th president of the United States. For Kevin, this will be the day that will decide if he remains in the country he lives for 21 years now. Although he sent Trump the message ‘do not take the defeat too hard’, it does not exclude the possibility of installing the Republican candidate to the White House.

‘In such an America I would be afraid to live,’ says Kevin, in an interview. In the same line and Brontë and Stephen are positioned, two young men from Florida, to which the boundary that separates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump is respect, decency vs hostility, chaos.

‘Both campaigns are reprehensible. They talked more about their ego than about real issues,’ says Stephen, recognizing that he did not take Donald Trump’s campaign seriously at first.

At least not until he saw how much support the Republican Party candidate for US president got. ‘That was the most shocking. To see so many people feel so much anger and hate him. It was a little scary,’ says Stephen.

Having less than 20 years, they are students and live in Florida.
