A secret organization that used WhatsApp as their favorite communication tool was arrested

Apparently, the members were sharing images with sexually abused children, reported the Spanish police, Europol, and Interpol.

Nearly 39 suspects were arrested for sharing pornographic footage with sexually abused children, revealed the Spanish authorities.

According to the international press, these sexual psychopaths were using a series of pages hosted by Darknet to redirect users to private WhatsApp groups.

During the raids, all of them were arrested and the devices used to stock the sick images and videos were also confiscated.

They discovered nearly 360.000 different files with pornographic footage that featured minors.

The special mission known as ‘Tantalio’ involved a series of complex investigations unfolded in five different states from South America and Europe.

Hundreds of images and video content with children were uploaded online by the members of this organization.

‘These criminals are taking advantage of the modern technology to avoid being caught’, declared the director of Europol Rob Wainwright.

The investigation was a success due to the advantageous collaboration between the messaging application and the European law enforcements.

‘This case is an excellent example of global law enforcement cooperation, led by the Spanish National Police.

We need to continue to combine our joint resources and skills to tackle this threat to our children and bring these offenders to justice’, added Wainwright.

The Spanish police are making efforts to identify and help the abused minors and their families.
