On Tuesday, the Syrian province of Idlib became the target of an offensive operation conducted by Bashar al-Assad’s forces.
100 civilians established in the rebel-held area and 11 innocent children were killed and other 400 are severely injured.
Although the pieces of evidence are not 100% clear, several global organizations and witnesses claim the authors of the bloody attack are the president’s militants.
The air strike consisted in launching a chemical weapon with sarin gas
Seconds after they launched the projectile, the chaos was installed.
Hundreds of dead bodies were lying on the ground and the local hospital became the portrayal of an ordeal.
The medical staff struggled to take care of every victim, while the rest of the people were screaming.
Most of them arrived at the hospital with open wounds, respiratory failure, and gas poisoning.
An emergency conference was held in Brussels this morning, where Mr. Boris Johnson highlighted some crucial aspects regarding the horrendous situation in Syria.
‘You cannot go on with a regime that’s willing to use illegal weapons against its own people, a regime that’s killed hundreds of thousands of its own people. What’s needed now is a political process to get rid of that regime and give the people of Syria a chance’ declared Boris Johnson in front of the UN Council.
According to the British politician, the fact that the Syrian dictator caused the ordeal is quite obvious.
‘You cannot go on with a regime that’s willing to use illegal weapons against its own people, a regime that’s killed hundreds of thousands of its own people’, added Johnson.
