Arsenal’s manager is keen on staying. Arsene Wenger does not plan to retire soon as this would mean death for him.
In spite of the club’s supporters, who ask him to leave the team, Arsene is going to stay and give everything he has.
His future with the team is now doubted, as his contract expires in a few months. Supporters urge him to leave the team, while the manager is inclined to extend his contract for some more.
After twenty years spent with the club it’s not easy for him to take such a big decision. Given the downfall the club experienced lately, supporters have put the blame on the manager and think that it is time for a change. Fans even become angered by this and held protests to make their point.
What’s more, Arsenal has not won the Premier League in more than a decade, since 2004. This season hasn’t been too good as well, which keeps angering the supporters even more.
The 67-year-old does not even want to think of retirement. He thinks that it is for young people, for the old ones, this means a categoric death.
He still has the same desire to be the manager of this team as he had twenty years ago. He is just as dedicated and committed to it. In spite of the pressure he felt lately, he has a hunger that has remained the same in the last two decades.
Arsene is proud of how the club grew in the last twenty years. They started small, with only seventy people when he arrived and now there are over 700.
