Samsung just proved that virtual reality is not proper only for humans, but also great for big birds. By using their latest technology, they showed an ostrich how to fly.

In their newest commercial, they share he experience the ostrich had, of flying for the first time. The bird has a headset on and experiences flight, it spreads its wings then.

At the end of the commercial, they add the hashtag “do what you can’t”. Their message is that every dream can become reality, especially if you purchase their virtual reality set.

In the clip, they say that Samsung believes that the only way to make the impossible possible is by believing that nothing is.

You’ll see in the commercial an ostrich that is wandering in the dessert before reaching someone’s yard. It stumbles upon a VR headset that is placed on a table, it somehow puts it on and then experiences flight. On the background you can hear Elton John’s track, ‘Rocket Man’.

This experience pushes the bird to try to spread its wings and attempt to fly only to fall on its face. However, the following day, the bird tries again and this time, it succeeds to fly.

This commercial is for their latest virtual reality set that Samsung announced in February. It is the newest, improved model of Gear VR that can be powered using a smartphone and features a manual controller.

This device works with the majority of their phones: S6, S7, S8, Note 5.
