Taiwan bans the consumption of god and cat meat after the Parliament adopted a new law.
The law forbids the killing, consumption or the selling of dead dogs and cats reports BBC.
Apparently, the new bill also includes a series of protection measures for pets.
Dog or cat owners are not allowed to tie their animals to vehicles or motorbikes in order to force them to run alongside.
Those who chose not to respect the new law will face the consequences, including the most outrageous fine or two years behind bars.
Taiwan becomes the first Asian state to adopt such a law.
