The British singer canceled all his Vegas shows and he is currently in the hospital

Elton John was transferred to intensive care due to a ‘potential deadly’ bacterial infection.

According to the British press, Sir Elton John got the bacteria earlier this month, during a vacation in South America.

Following the sad news, the singer was forced to cancel all his shows and projects scheduled in April and May, especially because his condition got even worse during his return in Britain, in Chile.

On Saturday, shortly after his arrival in UK, Elton was rushed to the hospital, where the doctors transferred him to intensive care.

Besides the events in Vegas, his representatives postponed every single project set to take place in the following three months because the artist’s health is the most important.

All the fans are wishing him a fast recovery so he can perform at the Twickenham Stadium in London on 3^rd June.

‘During a recent tour in South American, Elton John got a dangerous and unusual bacterial infection. After his return from Santiago, Chile, his condition suddenly worsened. After his arrival in UK, Elton was transferred to a hospital, where he received an urgent medical treatment in order to eliminate the infection.

These infections are rare potential deadly. Fortunately, his medical team identified the problem quickly and treated it with success. He expects a full recovery’, mentioned his PR in a press release.

Elton also wanted to calm and thank his supporters for their loyalty: ‘I am so lucky because I have the most loyal fans and I apologize for the disappointment’, wrote the Brit on social media.
