The Romanian pensioner from the city of Arad could easily win a spot in the Guinness Book of Records.
The elder, whose identity was not revealed, received the incredible news from a local authority from Arad.
We are not exactly aware in which database or the name of the institution where the Romanian has to pay the staggering amount but, from what we understood, the elder is forced by the Romanian government to pay up the sum of 39 RON ($9. 17) once a month for the next 6.447 years.
The pensioner, who currently has a monthly pension of less than $150, must deposit $9.17 each and every month for the next six millenniums, in order to cover the staggering debt.
However, the most common question in these situations is: ‘why are the rates so small?’
Apparently, everything starts from the miserable pensions covered by the Romanian state when it comes to elders.
‘We are not allowed to confiscate more than a quarter from their pensions, declared an official from the local authority.
According to the same source, a significant number of pensioners appear into their databases with incredible debts.
Mihaela Vasile believes 5.675 pensioners from Arad are stuck with these bank rates for life.
