FBI rejected a recent demand of the White House of publishing the secret conversations between Trump’s associates and the Russian government during his presidential campaign.
As reported by an official from the White House, the application was made after the FBI told some White House representatives the stories in the press are not exactly true.
The White House required the help of the Bureau and from the agents who investigate this case because they are the only ones who know exactly what went on.
The direct communication between FBI and the White House is rather unusual, considering the restrictions of such a close relation.
According to some experts, the demand imposed by the White House breaks the rules that limit the level of communication with FBI during an investigation.
American counselor for national security Michael Flynn quit his job after a scandal generated by some discussions with a Russian ambassador, right before Donald Trump’s investiture.
Apparently, Flynn talked with the Russian official about some American sanctions and after he was caught, he tried to cover the incident.
The American intelligence agencies highlighted that in 2016, during the presidential campaign, Russian government officials expressed an unusual interest towards Donald Trump’s party.
