Amir Khan and Manny Pacquiao will fight in April

For a couple of months, there have been a lot of speculations about the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan. Now, it was officially confirmed that this fight will happen.

We will see the two fight in less than two months. The match will take place on April 23.

The Philippine champion asked his fans a while ago about who he should fight. The majority voted for Amir. Pacquiao wrote on Twitter that he gave fans what they want.

The 30-year-old champion also confirmed the fight. He wrote on his Twitter that their teams have agreed and the ‘super fight’ will take place.

The venue wasn’t decided yet. They will continue to think about a venue in the following days. US is an option, along Dubai and the United Kingdom, says Khan.

Amir had his last fight in May. He played against Saul Alvarez and lost.

Pacquiao, on the other hand, retired last year. But he still likes to fight from time to time. In November, he beat Jessie Vargas.

It’s hard to picture the winner. Manny is a world champion, while Amir is younger and faster. Although the fans want to see them fight, they are actually pretty close. A few years ago, they both had the same trainer.

In case Amir wins, his image would definitely improve. He would get the chance of retaliation. Beating a world champion would be even better to his image.

Amir wanted for a long time to fight him or Floyd Mayweather. He thinks he has the chance of winning.
