On Sunday, Casey Affleck won the Oscar for Best Actor. In spite of his performance in the film, his history makes people angry at him.

Women were revolting when they found out he got a nomination in the first place.

It seems like famous men are more likely to get away with anything, especially with harassment.

The actor has been charged a few years ago for harassment.

While he was on the set of a movie, he made despicable things to some of his female co-stars. He was on the set of “I’m Still here”.

Affleck called his co-stars names, such as “cows”. He also insisted that a woman that was working there would share a room with him at the hotel. As the woman refused him, Affleck sent her all kinds of crazy text messages.

Another one found him in her bed, hugging her in her sleep. She was in her hotel room, in her bed in only his underwear. He was holding her.

As the woman kicked him off her room, Affleck made her world a living hell. He made everyone on set bully her. She eventually had to quit.

In spite of all these, the actor was still honored with this award. But it’s not only the honor, but a career boost.

As he now owns an Oscar, his career will skyrocket. Roles will just keep on coming. This will also bring more success. The only ones that have something to lose from this are the women he harassed.

Praising such persons at such an important event is hurtful for the victims and not only. Upon learning about his win, many responded and revolted.
