Pregnant Natalie Portman won"t be at the Oscars

The most important event in the cinema world is going to take place tonight. Natalie Portman, who is heavily pregnant and also nominated, won’t be able to attend the Oscars.

The actress delivered the news to a publication. Because of her pregnancy, she won’t be able to attend, but she is honored for being nominated in a category with so many wonderful artists. She wishes everyone, the nominees, an amazing weekend and night.

Besides the Oscars, she wasn’t able to attend the Independent Spirits Awards as well. They took place last night.

In the past months, the actress and her growing bump were seen on the red carpet. Until now, she attended the majority of awards. She was seen at the Golden Globes.

It seems like her pregnancy is already too advanced to make a public appearance.

Portman is nominated for her amazing role in “Jackie”, where she impersonated late Jackie Onasis.

The BAFTAs were held recently and she couldn’t attend them as well.

When she won an Oscar in 2011, Portman was also pregnant. That time, she was expecting her son.

Then, she appeared on the red carpet and was joined by her fiancé, Benjamin Millepied. She wore a gorgeous Rodarte dress, made of purple silk.

Portman and Millepied got married in 2012. Her husband is a choreographer and worked with her in the movie that brought her the Oscar six years ago.

The Academy Awards are taking place tonight and are going to be spectacular and full of surprises.
